Great Lakes Management and our family have been true investment partners celebrating our 10 year anniversary in 2017. Our introduction to Great Lakes Management and their inventory of hotels came from high recommendation of business associates and golf partners at our local country club. Our partnership began with a modest investment in the Le Claire, IA Holiday Inn Express. Subsequently, we have increased our investment substantially in Le Claire and made significant investments in newly constructed hotels in Madison, WI Holiday Inn Express & Suites and La Crosse, WI Hampton Inn & Suites. I have been so pleased with the investment returns and management quality that I formed an LLC of friends and family, which have investments in Great Lakes newest project, a new Hotel Indigo and 27 market rate apartments in downtown Kansas City, MO. When considering investments in new developments we are provided comprehensive prospectus with realistic projections and renderings. They do an exceptional job of construction management with periodic open houses to view progress. During operation we receive weekly spreadsheets identifying operational status with comparisons to prior accomplishments and honest assessments of the current and projected market trends. I personally visit each site yearly and meet with the senior and floor staff. I have always been impressed with the quality of personnel and their dedication to maintaining my investment in the best of condition with the maximization of profit. A testament to the Great Lakes Management style is the quality and longevity of their staff.
